Hi, I'm Emily. I run a fashion brand, and I work in potato farming. Moving between the design studio and the fields, my practice is rooted in agricultural work, ritual and the materials of the land.

Getting covered in mud for twenty years has given me a unique understanding of the functionality of clothing and how it can change the way we move through the world. I want to bring this sense of ease and love of nature out of the fields and into the design studio.

With a small team, we design and make everything in Scotland. Our work brings together workwear-inspired pieces in natural fibres such as linen and canvas, with industrial stainless steel hardware. We work collaboratively with local craftspeople to create works in basketry, leather, stoneware pottery and recycled silver. Everything in our current PAGAN collection was made within one hour of our Edinburgh studio.
