For those days when you don't want to get out of bed, take your bed with you. Introducing supersize Duvet Scarves to cushion you from the world. Made by hand in our Edinburgh studio. Although inspired by vintage bedding, this scarf is designed and made to feel like a luxury duvet. These are made from scratch though, because we quickly realised that you cannot just cut up a duvet and wear it. We tried.
Each scarf is comprised of 3 layers of fabric which are patchworked and quilted and then hand-stuffed with ethically sourced goose feathers. All of our feathers and down are sourced in accordance with the DOWNPASS standard. Each scarf comes with a DOWNPASS verification code to ensure complete traceability of the filling, and to confirm there is a valid animal welfare and quality audit of the manufacturer.
This colourway is a mix of white cotton lawn with large yellow roses and Liberty cotton lawn featuring pink, blue and yellow flowers. One side of the scarf features the vibrant side of the fabric, and other features the muted reverse side. This is a nod to sun bleached vintage textiles, and was first made popular in fashion when Aloha shirt manufacturers in Hawaii started using the underside of vibrant printed cottons to give a worn in and muted effect.
